NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OPEN SCHOOLING (NIOS)
 
The parent organisation of Saraswathi Kendra Learning Centre for Children (SKLC), The C.P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation is registered with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) since 1991. The AI number is 190005. The students have the opportunity to complete their Std. X and Std. XII examinations through the NIOS Non-Formal System which is a very flexible and student-friendly system.
 
The institution is a formally accredited institution, both for the registration of candidates and for the conduct of exams, of the NIOS. During the course of the academic year Saraswathi Kendra Learning Centre conducts PCP (Personal Contact Program) classes, but not regular classes (as per the NIOS system). Dates are given and there are five compulsory PCP classes during the course of the academic year.
 
The NIOS Secondary, and Senior Secondary Certificates are recognised and accepted by Universities and other Higher Educational Institutions all over India and the world.

NIOS Registrations and Enquiries
Kindly note the timings of the NIOS registrations and enquiries.
 
Monday-Friday: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Sundays are holidays.
NIOS office will be closed on the holidays that are applicable for Saraswathi Kendra Learning Centre.
During terminal vacations, NIOS enquiries and registrations will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
